Our foundation aims at promoting excellence and drug free life among our youths. This event is one of such programmes we undertake to achieve this. Founded and led by Dr. Mrs. Chioma Ajunwa-Oparah (MON, OLY, DCP RTD)—Nigeria’s first Olympic gold medalist and a retired Deputy Commissioner of Police—the foundation continues to champion youth empowerment and positive social transformation. Through the Golden Dreams Campaign, the foundation aims to promote excellence and encourage a drug-free lifestyle among Nigerian youths, particularly at a time when substance abuse remains a growing concern in the country.
The campaign is not just a call to action—it is a celebration of possibility and purpose, especially in line with global observances against drug abuse and illicit trafficking. By merging sports inspiration with social advocacy, Chioma Ajunwa reaffirms her dedication to using her platform and legacy to spark real change.
Attendees at the launch event can expect a powerful showcase of testimonies, educational segments, and strategic partnerships aimed at curbing the menace of drug abuse while uplifting young people toward healthier and more productive choices.
